Forward Collision Alert

This system uses radar and a camera to monitor cars, pedestrians, or cyclists in front of you. The radar measures the distance between your Kia and the object, and the system then compares this to your present speed. If it calculates that a collision is likely, you’ll receive visual and audible warnings to slow down to avoid an accident.

If you’re unable to hit the brakes in time, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist will intervene. This feature will immediately slow your vehicle or bring it to an almost instant stop if necessary to prevent a collision. Its swift response can prevent an accident or reduce the damage caused.

Smart Cruise Control w/Stop & Go.

This technology allows you to set your speed and the following distance from a vehicle ahead of you. When activated, Smart Cruise uses a camera and radar to maintain your preset distance, adjusting your vehicle’s speed as needed. It will slow down if the vehicle ahead reduces speed and can also come to a complete stop if necessary.

If your Kia stops, the Stop & Go feature will automatically restart your engine within three seconds when the other vehicle moves again.

Remote Start Parking Assist

Every driver has, at one time or another, been faced with a parking space that’s so tight that there’s little space to open the doors. Normally, you’d have to pass up that space and hopefully find another. This system makes parking in difficult spaces easier by enabling your Kia to park itself by moving forward or backward.

To smoothly park in a difficult situation, position your Kia directly in front of the space, switch off the engine, and exit your vehicle. Press the Remote Start button on your fob, then press and hold the backward button, and your Kia will reverse into the parking space. When you want to exit the parking space, press and hold the forward button, and your Kia will drive out to meet you.

Surround View Monitor

This system uses cameras in the front, rear, and on both sides to generate a real-time 360-degree view of the area around your vehicle, which is displayed on your screen. You can also select an individual camera view, and when reversing, guidelines will appear on the image to direct you.
