Kia's latest compact car offers five distinctive trim options. The base model LX has 16-inch steel wheels with covers, and the LXS has 16-inch alloy wheels with a dark grey finish. Both the LX and LXS have a black and metal-painted front grille. The EX has larger tires and 17-inch alloy wheels with a black machined finish, as well as a gloss black and chrome front grille. The GT-Line and GT-Line Turbo display premium design features, including 18-inch sport alloy wheels and gloss black trim and accents. Each variant has LED headlights, daytime running lights, and taillights, as well as a sporty-looking shark fin antenna.

The 2025 Kia K4 offers two engine options. The base model engine is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder that produces 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque and includes a continuously variable transmission for fuel efficiency. The premium engine (included with the GT-Line and GT-Line Turbo) is a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder that produces 190 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque. It's paired with a refined eight-speed automatic transmission, and both engines send power to the front wheels. The K4 blends power with efficiency: it can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 8.0 seconds and achieves 30 mpg in the city and 40 mpg on the highway.
