Get ready to electrify your journey with the 2025 Kia EV6. This all-electric CUV is available in four trim configurations, each with its own unique characteristics. Read on to learn the differences between the EV6 models.
Trim Levels of the 2025 Kia EV6
1. Light
We begin with the Light, a compact utility vehicle powered by an electric propulsion system consisting of a single motor and a 63 kWh battery pack. This impressive combination generates 167 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, and enables the Light to make 237 miles on a single charge.
The EV6 is an athletic-looking CUV, with its gloss black grille, rear spoiler, and dark gray 19-inch alloy wheels. And, although the Light is Kia’s entry-level model, it boasts many features typically reserved for higher trim levels, such as automatic LED projector headlights, LED daytime running lights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and heated power-folding mirrors with integrated turn signals.
Interior Highlights
The premium features continue inside. The cabin temperature is automated by dual-zone climate control, and drivers enjoy the comfort of a heated power seat with eight-way adjustment. Drivers view information on a 12.3-inch instrument panel and control the regenerative braking system using the paddle shifters mounted on the two-spoke SynTex-wrapped steering wheel.
At the heart of the infotainment system is another 12.3-inch display. This touchscreen features integrated navigation, SiriusXM satellite radio, and Wi-Fi hotspot capability. You can also wirelessly connect a smartphone via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto and stream music through the six-speaker sound system.
2. Light Long Range
As the name suggests, the Light Long Range increases the number of miles you can travel in the EV6 before needing to recharge. In addition to extending the range to 319 miles, the larger 84 kWh battery ups the horsepower to 225 ponies.
3. Wind
Next is the Wind, a better-equipped EV6 that ups the ante in terms of luxury and comfort. SynTex now lines the upholstery, and the front passenger enjoys the convenience of an eight-way adjustable power seat. This trim also introduces a 360-degree camera, a smart power liftgate, and a Vehicle-to-Load connector, which allows you to use the vehicle’s power to charge external devices.
4. GT-Line
Heading the lineup is the GT-Line. Kia’s top trim receives a sporty makeover from unique exterior styling, body-colored lower cladding, and body-colored wheel arches. The sporty touches continue inside, with drivers receiving alloy sports pedals and a flat-bottomed steering wheel on a power tilt and telescoping column. A head-up display projects navigation and vehicle data onto the windshield. Kia also improves the sound quality inside the GT-Line with a 14-speaker Meridian Premium audio system.
From the budget-friendly Light to the sporty GT-Line, every EV6 trim is a masterclass in engineering. Explore the full range by contacting us or visiting Kia of Marin in Novato, CA, today, and prepare to electrify your journey.
