The redesigned 2019 Kia Forte compact sedan impresses on many levels, with a sporty design, a more refined interior, and many feature upgrades. The all-new Forte also delivers high-level safety, especially for the top-of-the-line EX trim.
Kia Forte EX Passive Safety Features
The Kia Forte EX comes equipped with six airbags, including dual front advanced airbags, dual front seat-mounted side airbags, and full-length side curtain airbags. The airbags feature sensors that manage the level of inflation by detecting the severity of a collision and whether or not there is a front passenger. All of the seat belts have three points for shoulder straps and over-the-lap placement, while the front seat belts offer a personalized fit with height-adjustable seat-belt anchors. To help ensure that the child seat is secure and properly installed, the Forte EX has a Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children (LATCH) system.
