Does Kia offer COVID-19 payment deferral programs or incentives?

The COVID-19 crisis has been a tragedy for the world. In addition to millions of people infected with COVID-19, much of the world has to make the sacrifices of social distancing and “sheltering at home.” This has resulted in a significant downtown in the economy with many people losing their jobs. Kia is addressing this economic impact with their Accelerate the Good payment deferral and incentive program.

Kia Accelerate the Good Program

With the Kia Accelerate the Good program, payments on select models for Kia customers can be deferred up to 120 days. Kia customers can also get 0% financing for up to 75 months. Another component of the program is an extension of a Kia warranty. If the warranty for your Kia vehicle expires before the end of May 2020, it can be extended to June 30, 2020.

In addition to the payment deferral, 0% financing, and warranty extension, the Kia Accelerate the Good program includes charitable endeavors for the COVID-19 crisis. Youth homelessness is a major problem in the United States. This problem will likely become even worse with the COVID-19 crisis. Kia is furthering its mission of reducing youth homelessness by donating an additional $1 million to charities that address the issue.

We owe a huge debt of gratitude to the healthcare professionals that are on the frontlines of fighting COVID-19. Kia understands this, so the Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia facility has plans to produce 200,000 face shields, which will be distributed to hospitals in Georgia and other locations in the United States that have been severely affected by COVID-19.
