2019 Kia Sorento Design Changes and New Features

Kia took the level of sophistication and refinement up a few notches for the 2019 Sorento. The radiator grille has more detail, while the more sculpted front fascia results in a bolder expression. The higher-level trims have full-LED lighting, while the rear of the vehicle has an elegant new rear bumper and sleek new taillights. The beautiful styling continues to the interior, with a new instrument cluster, center console, shifter knob and steering wheel.

Improved Performance of 2019 Kia Sorento
The 2019 Sorento comes with a new 8-speed automatic transmission, which results in smoother and quicker shifts. The 2019 Sorento also gets a new Smart Shift & Drive feature, which gives you the ability to configure different drive modes to cater to your preferred driving style. Buyers of the Sorento have a choice of the 2.4-liter inline-4 GDI engine or a 3.3-liter V6 GDI engine. Also, a diesel engine may be available for the Sorento at a later date.
New Technologies in 2019 Sorento
The 2019 Sorento offers many new advanced technologies. The AVN 5.0 navigation system has been upgraded and comes with Android Auto6 and Apple CarPlay. For a refined listening experience, you can get the available 10-speaker new Harman Kardon sound system. Also, the 2019 Sorento offers a newly available wireless charger, while Driver Attention Warning and Lane Keeping Assist now come standard for Sorento EX grades and higher.
